Have a glass where the rim is as broad as the bowl to be sure the aromas don't become too strong. A tunnel effect will give you the aroma directly onto your nasal passage. Obviously, can't just pull the cork and drink the wine right out of the bottle, like other products. The cork might not seal perfectly, in which case oxidation within the wine may happen.
